Waltham Forest homecoming anthem!
How many Ryman League clubs have their very own song? Waltham Forest do!
Supporter and local performer Graham Larkbey decided to write one celebrating the club’s return to their Wadham Lodge home, and “Back To The Lodge (We’re Coming Home Again)”, recorded and filmed on location at the ground before Wednesday’s game v Wroxham, can now be heard in all it’s glory.
And the song has worked its magic already already – Forest had lost their first three games, but went on to beat Wroxham 3-2!

(Broudie/Baddiel/Skinner)
Five long years was way too long
With no home of our own, but we still carried on
Times got hard and times got tough
Things got worse and things got rough
But despite it all our spirits stayed high
Waltham Forest never say die
We’re coming home again
The Forest are on their way
Back to the Lodge
It’s the dawning of a brand new day
Now we’ve pulled through, we’ve weathered the storm
The darkest hour is just before dawn
A brand new season, we’re back at home
We’ll give it our best shot, we’re raring to go
So bring it on, we’re ready to fly
Waltham Forest never say die
We’re coming home again
The Forest are on their way
Back to the Lodge
It’s the dawning of a brand new day
