Walthamstow v Cambridge City preview

Walthamstow face Cambridge City on Tuesday in a rearranged fixture in the Isthmian League.

This was scheduled to be the first game of the new year, however the game was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Stow won their first game of the new year in brilliant fashion in a 4-3 win at home against Witham Town. Goals from Callum Ibe, Brian Garzon and a brace including a screamer from Charlie Heatley were enough for the points, though Witham did make it a nervy game towards the end.

Cambridge were in action on Saturday and hosted Grays Athletic at home, where the points were shared in a 0-0 draw.

The last meeting between the two sides was at the beginning of the season, where Cambridge came out victorious in a 2-0 win. Two goals in the space of five minutes from Jayden Randell and Joseph Boachie were enough for the three points, with Stow unable to take crucial chances to get back into the game.
