Walthamstow Women launching for 2026-27

Walthamstow FC are delighted to announce that they will be fielding a women’s team for the first time, this coming season.

The team will look to enter the Greater London Women’s Football League, and represent our growing club and East London.

The team will be sponsored by 40ft Brewery, who are already on board as main sponsors. Born in Dalson, 40ft Brewery are now part of the Blackhorse Beer Mile, where you can find their brewery and taproom.

Vice Chairman Andrzej Perkins said “This represents a huge milestone in the history of our club, and hopefully it is just the beginning.

“We have adult, veterans and youth teams in male football, and this is something we want to replicate in the women’s game.

“The ultimate ambition is to filed teams at every age group both boys and girls, men and women. We hope this is another step to achieving our ambition.

“We would also like to thank 40ft Brewery  for their support, it makes a huge difference.
