Willis Thanks Fans
The fans 2010-11 player of the season Jason Willis has thanked the club and the fans for his award.
Jason got in touch with the club during the summer break, saying: “Thanks to all the supporters at Waltham Forest and thanks for everything.”
Willis was a key player for Forest last season, making 34 appearances in total, the most by a considerable margin.
Despite his move to Heybridge, Willis is still a favourite at the club, and deservedly so, having now racked 114 appearances.
Few who were in attendance will ever forget the goal that Willis scored against Arlesey Town on the 1st of December 2007, and Jason remains the only goalkeeper to have scored for the club.
The club wish Jason all the best for the coming season, where he will be playing at Heybridge Swifts.
