Winger Reed signs for Stow
Walthamstow have beaten a number of higher level clubs to secure the services of Ryan Reed.
The in-demand winger made 20 appearances for Clapton last season, scoring six goals before moving up a division to play for Basildon United.
The season before that, he contributed seven goals and 18 assists with Clapton, before signing for Barking.
Speaking at training, Reed said: “I joined Walthamstow because of the ambition of the club and the professional approach to everything that [manager] Ryan Maxwell and the club are doing.”
And Maxwell was delighted to capture a player he has had his eye on for some time: “Ryan has got obvious ability. He can beat men and create.
“I’m hoping to get even more out of him and can’t wait to see the best of him.”
To get you excited, here’s Ryan scoring a quite ridiculous goal for Clapton at the end of last season.
