Pattwell brought in as Assistant

Robert Pattwell has been appointed Waltham Forest Assistant Manager after the departure of Colin Walton.

Pattwell is a young manager who has been progressing through the ranks in the last few years. He managed Welwyn Garden City in SSML Divison One in 2010/2011 for a short period, before moving on to work with the Berkhamsted Suburban League team in that same season.

He went back to playing again in 2011/2012, before taking over as Cheshunt Capital League Manager for the 2012/2013 season.

Most recently, he was in charge of the successful Cheshunt Capital League side, where he led the side to the Eastern Division title.

His record upon parting company with Cheshunt excellent, having won 11 out of 11 of his last games. He also works for Leicester City as an Academy Scout.

His influence was seen as early as this weekend, as Forest shocked Aveley with a  2-1 victory.

We would like to welcome Rob to the club, and hope his time with us is long and successful.
