Growing up, the left-back from London was on the books of Arsenal and was called up to train with the first team on several occasions when Kieran Gibbs was injured. In the 2013/14 season, he twice made the bench for the under-19 side in the UEFA Youth League.

After leaving the Gunners in the summer of 2014, Uade was only 18 when he took his first steps abroad, joining Finnish top-flight side SJK Seinäjoki, a side with a pedigree for signing English players. He finished the year off with the Finnish side playing four times for their B team in the third-tier as well as making the bench for the first team.

After returning to England, the left-back who has also represented Nigeria at youth level, signed for Norwich City, spending the 2015/16 season with the Canaries, impressing for the club’s Under-21 side in the old U21 Premier League before it became Premier League 2.

After playing in non-league, including a spell with Eastbourne Borough in National League South, the former Arsenal man set off for his next club abroad, this time heading to sunnier climates. The defender joined Céltiga in the fourth-tier of Spanish football, making four appearances in the first team before leaving when a new opportunity further afield arose. Uade had been approached by a Brazilian Serie C team but the deal fell through due to undisclosed reasons at the last minute in January this year.
