One of the few former Walthamstow Pennant players to get into the first team of Leyton Pennant. Had to wait for an injury to Mark Baker to get his chance, but, took it really well and made the number one spot his own.

Like Baker he was not the tallest of players (unlike his brother Darren, who was well over six feet tall and must have eaten Craig’s vegetables when they were younger) but very agile and brave, which resulted in a lot of missed games through injury.

The next season he only played in about half the matches and left the club to return after a year and in the next two season again was prone to injury which restricted his appearances.

Not spectacular in style, he was a very sound performer between the sticks.
