Redbridge reprieve leaves Senior League a team short

News has emerged this morning that Redbridge have accepted a reprieve and will remain in Division 1 North of the Ryman League next season, despite finishing in a relegation position.

Redbridge’s reprieve comes as Clevedon Town of the Southern League Division One (South and West) lost their appeal against relegation due to ground grading issues.

This means that as the next best-placed team in points-per-game, Redbridge have been reprieved.

This has also seen Ware transferred to the Southern League Central Division.

It remains to be confirmed if the Essex Senior League will run at 21 teams, or find a replacement for Redbridge.
