Walthamstow v Bromley preview

Walthamstow welcome League 2 side Bromley to Wadham Lodge on Tuesday in the London Senior Cup Second Round.

Stow recently ended their unbeaten run on Saturday after a 4-0 loss at home to Redbridge on Saturday in the Isthmian League Division One North. A hattrick from Solomon Ogunwomoju and a goal from Malachi Napa secured 3 points for the visitors, though all four goals could’ve been prevented. Stow’s next league fixture comes on the 11^th October, at home against Downham Town.

Last season’s London Senior Cup final took place between Hanwell Town and Brentford B, however it wasn’t played until the beginning of this season due to Brentford B’s busy schedule towards the end of last season, and a date couldn’t be organized until the start of the new season. Hanwell came out as eventual winners, beating Brentford 3-0 in August.

This will be the first time Stow will take part in the London Senior Cup since the 2007/2008 season, and the first time Stow will face Bromley since the last century. The last time both teams met was on the 4^th December 1999 where Bromley won 1-0 in the Isthmian League Division One.
