Brinklow boost for Stow

Ryan Maxwell has moved to bring in former Basildon United and Hullbridge Sports midfielder Matt Brinklow.

With Jake Giddings injured, and Chris Lecointe’s departure to Barkingside, the midfielder will be a welcome addition to the squad.

He played 20 times for Basildon’s promotion-winning side last season, scoring three times, and was a key part of their run-in.

Matt spent two seasons at Hullbridge Sports, and was a mainstay in their 2016-17 team, scoring five goals in 36 appearances.

He has been playing for Leigh Ramblers this season.
